Elton John At Vegas

I must admit that before, all I know about Elton John is that, he is a singer. I don't know that he is not only a singer but one of the best singers in the world. And I started to be a fan of Elton John when I heard him singing during the death of Princess Diana. I admired him singing the song, Candle In The Wind. That's the reason why, I am hoping to see and watch him performing live on stage someday.

And for all the music lovers out there and fans of the legendary singer, song-writer, philanthropist and musical genius who is living in US, he will going to perform live at Las Vegas at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace this coming February. He will going to take you to a whimsical evening as he will going to sing his classic songs and melodies, but with a few new twist. In this 90 minute show, he will be accompanied by his piano and a beautifully paired band which will make the show a must see show. So, if you want to see and hear the voice of Elton John Live, why not buy a ticket now and watch the Elton John Las Vegas show.

I Love Gardening

When I am still in the Philippines, every weekends I'm doing one of my favorite hobbies and that is gardening. I love gardening so much. As a matter of fact I have a lot of collections of flowering plants like euphorbia, orchids, calachuchi etc. Right now, the one who is taking care of my garden is my mom.

Here in Italy, I like to have a garden but there's a lot of problems. One problem is the weather, another is the water. Living here in the country is not as easy as living in the city because sometimes there is no enough supply of water especially during summer.

Even though I can't have a garden here, I still have some plants like cactus, roses, geranium, tulips and some green plants, I decided to plant each of them using a planter ; for cactus, for example, I decided to use an indoor planter and for geranium, I used a decorative planter .

If I am going to compare the kinds of vases or planters here in Italy, unlike in the Philippines, there are only few kinds of it. That's the reason why one time, I tried to visit a site that offers different kinds of planters. I was surprised because in this site, they have the widest selection of high quality planters. And to give you some of their products, they have indoor planters, outdoor planters , garden planters , window box planters , high end planters , decorative planters and a lot more. These products could be use in either residential or commercial purposes. Aside from that, they have a very affordable price. If you want to see their various selections of planters, you can visit their site at planterixchange.com .

Some Facts About Italy

Italy is known worldwide for a variety of reasons. Personalities, art, food and music are just some of the tip-of-your-tongue facts people who go on Jeopardy know all too well. Here are some fast facts about Italy for anyone interested in their mecca of culture.

Italy has several volcanoes, and one that is still active even into our current century. Mount Vesuvius is one of three active volcanoes in continental Europe (the other two, Etna and Stromboli, are also in Italy); it is also considered one of the most famous volcanoes in the world. Its name is recognized in many places, even when volcanoes aren't even an after-thought. Pompeii, an Italian city, was destroyed by Vesuvius in AD 79; the city was buried under lava and thousands of people were swept up in the molten mess.

Can you imagine the size of the state of Arizona? You see it? That's just about the size of Italy. Italy is shaped like a panhandle, much like the state of Florida. However, unlike Florida, Italy's population has more than 20 per cent over the age of sixty-five. While Florida is a hotbed of retirement, for the most part, seniors that move to the state are retiring there as opposed to living there for the duration of their lives.

The Azzurri, Italian for light blue, represents the name of their soccer team. Though, don't call it soccer overseas! In Europe, especially places like Italy, it's called football. Azzurri refers to the color of the national soccer team's home jersey, and now fans cheer them on with colorful chants alluding to the blue of their home country.

You've heard a lot in the news lately about the selection of the next Pope. Well, this conclave takes place in Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel, in Rome. Michelangelo painted the roof of the chapel on his back, lying high above the floors, which caused him much distress. Just imagine lying on your back for four years!

Speaking of the Pope, more than 97 percent of Italians are Roman Catholic. Vatican City, the home of the Pope, is located in Italy but is considered an independent city-state. They have their own police force, government and are recognized worldwide as their own country. City-states originated in the AD .

Who hasn't seen pictures of the leaning Tower of Pisa? It's one of the most well-known paper weights sitting on desks across the world, as it's an eye-catching building that everyone loves talking about in conversation. However, do you know why it's leaning? Well, when first built, the top soil the foundation was built on wasn't entirely stable, but the builders didn't know it at the time. They built the entire tower, and as the years went by, it began to slowly tip to one side. It's said that eventually it might just fall over, but there is no timeline as to when those standing under it should run.

Italians have very small families, not including the Mafia, of course! Keep in mind that the Mafia is just an organization or a group of people come together for a common goal. It doesn't always associate itself with The Sopranos and other illegal operations. The average Italian nuclear family is made up of five people, whereas the extended family - such as the Mafia - can be comprised of hundreds.

Italy is the fourth most visited country in the world, which means there's a good chance that someday you'll get to see all the sights and sounds of the country in your lifetime. More than 40 million foreigners touch down to visit some of the most amazing places in the world during just one year. Don't be left out, be one of them before you hang up your passport.

Pasta, one of the world's most consumed foods, was invented in Italy. It's also their national dish! Each Italian consumes more than 25 kilograms of pasta in just one year. Needless to say, there are not many leftovers in an Italian family's refrigerator.

Milan is considered the fashion capital of the world by designers and fashionistas alike. Many flock their throughout the year for fashion line launches, previews and other walkway run-throughs to catch up on the latest trends, fashions and other clothes hitting the stores during the year. Such designers as Armani, Versace and Gucci all launch clothes from Milan at some point during their business year.

"Italy is a democratic republic, founded on labor," is the official state motto. While not very robust, as many other mottos are throughout the world, it is a statement left over from the Roman foundation that is the country. Many buildings, government or otherwise, are branded with the initials SPQR that denote that they are recognized by the Imperial Senate and the people of Rome. Many facets of ancient Roman culture still dwell in the city, though you won't see many spears and shields lying around, except in museums.

A Birthday Present

When I am still in the Philippines, I have a lot of friends but there are only few of them whom I consider as a trusted friend. And I still remember that one of my trusted friends is celebrating her birthday this coming February 14. So since, it's her birthday, I'm planning to give her a birthday gift. A gift which she will going to love and appreciate. And the gift that I'm planning to give her is a set of perfumes. Why? Because this friend of mine, loves to collect different kinds of perfumes. That's the reason why, I'm giving this kind of present to her.

And a good starting point to search is ShopWiki. ShopWiki is a search engine for stores on internet with guides on buying and gifts by category or occasions. If you will go to their Health and Beauty products you could see a lot of items that comes from different leading brands.

There I found offerings for different kinds of products from cosmetics, skin care, hair care, personal care, men's grooming, bath and body, mineral cosmetics and fragrances. All of these products comes from different leading brands. And at ShopWiki you can find anything and everything for sale.

So even though, we are miles away from each other, I still want my friend to be happy in her birthday. I am planning to buy my gift in this website but, as a perfume has to tell something about the one wearing it, I still have to decide if “sweet as rose” is better than “spicy”.

Some Photos Of The Monastery

The location of Fonte Avellana is very beautiful. And during the time that we went there, the weather is good and it's Sunday. So since it's Sunday, you could see a lot of people going there to attend the mass.

Ensim Unify

Most small teams and large companies choose to use Windows for their workstations and servers. For all of them, their common problems to solve are, for example, reducing costs, improve security, avoid misconfiguration and many more.

And a common choice among companies, up to enterprise ones, is to use Microsoft Exchange as messaging and collaboration server. Exchange Management and Exchange Tools fits nicely in Active Directory , so for small and static configurations, the administrative tools that Microsoft offers could be enough.

Not so when you have to deal with a large number of clients with changing requests, integrate it with mobility application as Blackberry, or smart phones, or migrating to a newer release.

And to help you find a nice management software or a highly scalable, open architecture solution that simplifies the process of offering tiered hosting plans to various customer segments, Ensim Unify is here. Ensim is one of the leading provider in terms of management software for directory and applications infrastructure, such as Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Exchange. They allows the organizations to decrease operating costs, improve workforce effectiveness and meet security and compliance goal. And if you want to gather more information about them, just visit their site.

A Little History Of The Monastery Of Fonte Avellana

Its origins go back to the end of the first millennium and are closely linked to the history of the congregation of Camaldolesi. The hermitage was probably founded by St. Romualdo in 980th. Gave considerable impetus to the abbey the work of St. Peter Damian, who became Monaco in 1035 and Priore since 1043, not only for the extension of the original buildings but also for a strong cultural and spiritual hermitage. The religious tradition shows the number of 76 saints.

The Hermitage is mentioned by Dante Alighieri in The Divine Comedy (Paradiso, canto XXI), which seems that it was also a guest.

Abbey built in 1325, Fonte Avellana became a socio-economic power and, shortly afterwards (year 1392) experienced the practice of commenda (XIV - XV century). In 1569, the congregation was suppressed autonomous avellitanians who had until then governed the monastery, through the congregation camaldolese.

Fonte Avellana remained "Commendatore" to almost everything in 1700 and also had some commendatory if, for example, Cardinal Giuliano della Rovere then Julius II, who left evidence of character building and embellishments quite noteworthy, nevertheless deeply affected of the inevitable bias, why the revocation of his monastic life, though slow, was inexorable.

This decline ended with the Napoleonic of 1810 and shortly afterwards the Italian in 1866. Session under the management of the monks Camaldolese, in 1935, today Fonte Avellana has found its former glory, both spiritual and architecture.
Last 5 September 1982 Pope John Paul II visited Fonte Avellana in the celebration of the millennium of the foundation of the Eremo.

Since 2007, the Botanical Garden of the monastery, which has always been reserved for monks, is open to the public.

Greek Island Holidays

Since, I've been always here in the house everyday I think, I need to take a vacation. I need to relax and spend a holiday maybe outside Italy for a change of atmosphere. And I told to my husband about my plan of having a vacation together. He asked me where? And I answered him, “ I don't know”. Then he suggested that, if I want we could go to Greece and have a Greek island holidays this April since there is an offer in one of the tour companies here in Fabriano and the price of the ticket is very affordable.

He told me that, according to his friend who took a vacation there last August, Greek Islands is a very beautiful place especially in the islands of Corfu which is very well-known being the largest municipality and the administrative, financial and commercial center in the islands. One of it's great attraction is the “Old Town”.
